■ About the Role
Sparrow Shopfits is hiring a Head of Finance & Accounts to lead the company’s financial management with a strong focus on Profit & Loss (P&L), MIS reporting, receivables, payables, and financial controls.
This role requires a finance professional who can take ownership of Sparrow’s financial health, ensure strong reporting discipline, and support the leadership with data-driven insights.
■ Key Responsibilities
Core Financial Leadership:
• Full ownership of P&L management
• Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management
• Track receivables (collections from clients)
• Track payables and ensure proper fund planning
• Prepare cash flow statements, projections & fund movement reports
• Drive financial discipline across projects, procurement & operations
Controls, Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure statutory compliance: GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Income Tax
• Strengthen internal financial controls and approval processes
• Coordinate internal & statutory audits
• Liaise with auditors, consultants & financial institutions
Management Support:
• Provide financial insights for strategic decisions
• Conduct profitability analysis for projects
• Identify cost leakages and areas for financial improvement
■ Requirements
• Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance / Accounting (CA preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts
• Strong knowledge of P&L, MIS, GST, TDS, receivables/payables
• Experience in project-based, fit-out, or construction industry preferred
• Strong analytical, reporting & communication skills
• Ability to manage finance independently with full ownership

Key Responsibilities
1) Purchase & Vendor Management
Handle end-to-end purchase activities for interior fit-out retail projects
Source, develop, and manage vendors for materials, fixtures, fabrication, and services

2) Vendor Evaluation & Development
Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability
